Hypericum perforatum is not a fussy plant - almost any soil is OK, but well drained to dry, alkaline soil is preferred - reduced yeilds are obtained from very poor soil. Full sun or partial shade is recommended (flowering is improved in full sun). Please note that these instructions apply to Hypericum perforatum grown in temperate/mediterranean regions.
