Germination guide
Angelica sinensis seeds will usually germinate in 120 days, even under good conditions germination may be erratic. Normally germinates in the dark. Sow seeds about 5mm deep in a deep, moist, peaty, soil and well-rotted compost seed sowing mix at about 20°C.

Soak in warm water for a day and a night, sow just below the surface of a sandy - peaty mix, keep at about 25°C, dark and moist (not damp)

Germinates in the dark under warm damp conditions. Also in cool conditions with light. Alternating between months of cold stratification and warm damp conditions works. Seed should always be stored cold.
